Certified to Care. Trained to Excel
Certifications matter. At Mike’s Auto Body, our team holds I-CAR Gold Class, I-CAR Platinum, and ASE certifications, meeting the highest standards for safety, repair quality, and modern vehicle technology. We’re trained and equipped to repair all makes and models, from aluminum and high-strength steel frames to advanced paint finishes and sensor-based systems — with the precision today’s vehicles demand.
i-Car Gold Class & Platinum Certified
At Mike’s Autobody, we proudly maintain I‑CAR Gold Class status – the collision repair industry’s highest level of training recognition. This means our technicians are equipped with the latest knowledge on structural repair, refinishing, and estimating across today’s most complex vehicles. In addition, our management and team leaders hold Platinum certifications, ensuring the entire shop operates with up‑to‑date training, compliance, and expert direction. It’s your assurance that every repair meets the latest safety and performance standards.
The Experience Necessary To Handle ANY Make & Model
Our technicians bring hands-on experience with nearly every make and model on the road, from everyday commuters to high-performance exotics. With access to OEM repair manuals, factory position statements, and advanced estimating software, we’re equipped to diagnose and plan each repair with precision. Combined with the sheer variety and complexity of vehicles we work on daily, this means our team is equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to handle any challenge you can throw at us, regardless of whether it falls under one of our formal manufacturer certifications.
McLaren Certified Collision Center
Mike’s Autobody is part of the exclusive McLaren Certified Collision Repair Program, giving us direct access to factory-approved tools, structural materials, and training. Our technicians are trained through McLaren’s official repair network, including courses specific to carbon fibre, bonded aluminium structures, and active vehicle systems. All repairs follow McLaren’s exact OEM specifications and guidelines, ensuring the precision, performance, and safety your vehicle was engineered for – and all repairs are fully documented within McLaren’s internal repair tracking system.
Honda & Acura ProFirst Certified
As a Honda & Acura ProFirst Certified collision center, we go beyond the standard I‑CAR Gold Class training by completing advanced, manufacturer-specific education focused on Honda and Acura vehicles. These additional modules cover complex areas like advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), high-strength steel, hybrid systems, aluminum repair, and proper OEM repair procedures. While this training is available, not every shop commits to completing it – we do, because it’s the right way to restore your vehicle.
We also follow Honda’s strict guidelines for every repair, including required pre- and post-repair diagnostic scans using Honda-approved tools, to ensure all safety and electronic systems are functioning exactly as designed. Our facility is audited annually for compliance, and we maintain the approved equipment, documentation, and repair processes needed to keep your warranty and peace of mind intact.
Ford Certified Collision Repair Shop
We’re proud to be part of the Ford Certified Collision Network (FCCN), meeting Ford’s rigorous training, equipment, and process standards. That means when you bring your Ford to us, it’s repaired using OEM parts and the correct factory procedures, ensuring structural integrity, advanced safety systems, and your vehicle’s warranty are fully protected.
Ford Aluminum Repair Certification
In addition to our FCCN certification, we’ve completed Ford’s specialized aluminum repair training, which covers aluminum structural repairs, GMA (MIG) welding, and the strict handling protocols needed to prevent contamination and maintain corrosion resistance. Aluminum is lighter and more corrosion-resistant than steel, but it also requires dedicated tools, separate work areas, and precise techniques – all of which we have in place to restore modern F-Series trucks and other aluminum-bodied Fords to exact factory specifications
